• Project Status
• Have three servers up in production (mdsoti.fsu.edu – master, sprded01.erp.fsu.edu, sprded02.erp.fsu.edu – R/W replicants).

• Completed action items from last time: Created “peoplesoft-proxy”, got sprded01 into Tivoli backup system, got sprded02 set up, got ERPVPN à FSUID RADIUS server set up on sprded01 (complete with “vis-loginname” ERP visitor accounts).
• Action Items

1. [Fran, Jeff, Ethan] Get CARS-approved method for setting CARS passwords from eDir web pages.
2. [UCS, IS] Disable the ability for people to change their passwords using the “native” interface for CARS, Secure Login (re-direct to fsuid.fsu.edu) and Active Directory.
3. [Jeff, Ethan, IS DBAs] Move Oracle tables from ODDL machine (“larissa4”) to an OTI Oracle instance.
4. [Fran, Jeff, Ethan] Get remaining data from CARS/Oracle/fire2.fsu.edu (FSUcard type1 & type 2, Privacy (Publish) flag, phone number, others).
5. [Jeff] Build FSUID web page for ERP “visitor” accounts. Use “vis-loginname” convention for FSUIDs.
6. [Jeff, Ethan] Continue researching/tweaking eDirectory performance options.
7. [Tom, Jeff] Get mdsacns up as a read/write replicant.
8. [Dongmei, Jeff] Continue converting “raw” web pages into cleaner interfaces
9. [Jeff, Sean, Ethan] Finish “production-izing” all eDir instances (put “modify” Perl scripts in cron on mdsoti, get backups on mdsoti, etc.)
10. [Jeff, Sean] Set up the second NWR/ERP production eDir box (sprded02) as another R/W replicant. Set up NWR/ERP development eDir box (sdeved01)
11. [Jeff, Ethan, Sean, Derek – longer term] Actually get DirXML connections configured and going for ldap1, ldap2, etc. Migrate the functionality away from the “home grown” Perl scripts to using the Novell software.
12. [Ethan, Jeff, OTI WSG] Build the FSU AD shim/remote loader/password sync install (when OTI WSG deems it “safe”). Populate appropriate user fields/re-arrange the OUs within AD using the information in the eDir. Investigate managing non-OTI Active Directory users in eDir.
13. [Chuck, other ERP HR functional people] Work HR PeopleSoft gaps connected to metadirectory (resurrect Keith Hamilton’s PeopleCode for eDir sync).
14. [Group – longer term] Continue working SSN à FSNSN replacement discussions with campus & design “FSUSN” algorithm (new SSN-like private attribute).
• [Dr. Bellenot] Is FSUSN going to be retroactive (graduated students)? Will it be 9 digits or 9 alphanumerics? Are Faculty/Staff getting FSUSNs too?
• [Max Carraway] Need to confirm FSUSN plans to present to ERP S.C.
• What should the value of FSNSN be? Autogenerated? Mutable or not? Scope of work in IS to actually use it?
